Thousands of people came together at Page Park this weekend to mark South Gloucestershire Armed Forces Day 2026, enjoying a day of celebration, remembrance, and community spirit under glorious sunny skies.

From early morning, the park was buzzing with activity. Visitors experienced military displays, cadet parades, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities, all coming together to pay tribute to the men and women who have served and continue to serve in our Armed Forces.

The event was a powerful reminder of the strong connection between our Armed Forces and the communities that support them. It was fantastic to see so many people of all ages joining us at Page Park, and we have been delighted by the positive feedback received throughout the weekend.

Bringing an event of this scale to life takes months of preparation and the dedication of many people. My sincere thanks go to our incredible volunteers, whose hard work ensured the day ran seamlessly, and to the cadets, veterans, and serving personnel whose participation made the occasion so special.

We are also immensely grateful to our sponsors and partners, including the Staple Hill and District Branch of the Royal British Legion, Leidos, and South Gloucestershire Council. Special thanks also go to Panik Events for their excellent sound production, PW Group for providing security, AHM Catering for keeping everyone well-fed, and the Friends of Page Park for their continued support and invaluable knowledge of this much-loved park.

As the final performances came to an end and the last of the equipment was packed away, one thing stood out above all else: South Gloucestershire Armed Forces Day 2027 was another memorable occasion that brought our community together in appreciation, reflection, and celebration.
